Feeling Tappy is a static, privacy-preserving web toy. It is built to collect as little as possible.

What we store

• • Your tap count is stored only in your browser (localStorage), on your device. It never leaves your device and we cannot see it.
• • No accounts, no login, no wallet connection, no personal information is requested or collected.
• • No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set. No analytics that require cookie consent run by default.
• • Share cards are generated locally in your browser; creating one does not upload anything.

If a global counter is ever added

Any future global tap counter would count only anonymous, aggregate tap events with no personal identifiers, and its exact methodology (what is counted, how duplicates are handled, and when it was last updated) would be documented on the page that displays it. We will never display fabricated users, rankings, or totals.
